How to disassemble a maytag washing machine.

Looking down, the end of the hose should be higher than three feet off the floor. Any lower and the washer could experience siphoning. That is when the water fills and drains at the same time. The drain hose can be too high as well.I need to replace the spin basket on a MVWB765FW0 washer. I am not sure how to disassemble the unit to access the basket. The video that is referenced on this site shows a similar but not model but not this unit (I have an agitator). I am not sure if the top opens up or do I remove the entire case. Then disconnect the electrical connectors from the motor. Replace the broken coupler. Pop the bottom retainer off the motor and prop up the motor while you pop the top retainer (it's heavy).
