My sporting 12 has 7/64" gas ports. Came that way from the factory. That gun will literally cycle any shell I put in it. My first shot of doubles shell is 7/8 oz shot, cb0178-12 wad, 14.5 grains alliant extra lite, cheddite primer and a Remington hull.
