When running at idle the pressure jumps to 80 psi, oscillating between 75 and 85. Disconnecting the vacuum line to the regulator has no effect on the pressure. Got a lot of obstacles to overcome (mainly wiring-don't have the donor XJ bulkhead harness) and the one that I am working on right now is the fuel delivery.The dual outlet OEM type fuel filter acts like a pressure regulator. It has a metered output orifice on the return line side which reduces the pressure going to the inlet of the carburetor. Somewhere around 4psi instead of 7psi if a single outlet fuel filter was used. 1984 CJ-7 Renegade.
