I would take your Trailblazer back to the dealership so they can look at it. It's probably just a software issue, but it's their job to make sure it's working. I suspect the internal door that regulates outside air is what's causing the whistling. Next time you hear that noise try pushing the recirculation button and see how it changes the noise.
