366 tall deck block is usefull for 1 thing IMO and that is to rob the steel crank and the steel 4 bolt caps. Since the 366 is not very big cubic inch wise and really made for torque a 600 to 650 should be all you need. A Quadrajet would work well on a 366 as the small primary`s would have made for great off idle torque. A Quadrajet would need a adapter, and as bad as they disrupt flow, they aren`t worth it.

Oils have changed so much over time I didn't know if the owners manual would actually recommend the best oil from what was available today.
