Kawasaki vulcan 1500 starting problems.

Some of the older 1500's had a problem with bent shift forks, but it would probably be jumping out of gear if that was the case. The positive neutral finder on the Vulcans make the 1-2 shift a little clunky, that's more likely what it is. You have to shift with authority, don't granny shift it.I have a 2000 kawasaki vulcan 1500 classic that has a problem starting. I turn on the ignition switch and the spedometer lights up as well as the turn signal lights. I press the starter button and it does not turn over at all.
