Jun 15, 2008 · VTX 1300C gear shift. Hello, I just purchased a 2005 Honda VTX 1300C and was just curious if anybody on here has every adjusted their gear selector. Even with regular shoes on I can barley get my foot under the peg to shift gears. I havent looked at it very close yet, but if anybody has some insight on this, it would be much appreciated. Here is page 80 from an 02 1800VTX/R on changing oil. Level surface, start engine and run for 3 to 5 minutes. Oil light goes off. Stop engine and wait 2 - 3 minutes. Remove dipstick and wipe clean.
